All sessions begin with a conversation. This is when I get to get to learn a little about your family and get a glimpse into the styles. you love so that I can best tailor your baby's session.

Sit back, relax, and watch the magic unfold. Newborns are my gig! Everything we will need for your baby's session will be provided and ready for your arrival and for a smooth, beautiful session.

ORDERING
Get ready for those emotions! Your Ordering Appointment is where you will place your image & product selections. I will guide you to make your decision-making simplified and custom to you! for your arrival and for a smooth, beautiful session.

DELIVERY
Possibly the most exciting part. You may have already seen your baby's finished portraits digitally, but nothing compares to seeing them printed on one of our gorgeous wall art mediums or first holding your baby's custom album in your hands 

NEWBORN FAQS

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE A NEWBORN SESSION?                     

In an ideal world you will book your session before your little one arrives. We will tentatively hold your spot, using your due date as a guide. Once your baby arrives, we will schedule the exact date and time for your session. I like to schedule mainly around mom’s recovery. Most sessions are scheduled for when baby will be 10 to 21 days old. 

WHAT IF MY BABY HAS ALREADY ARRIVED?

If your baby has already been born reach out now. My schedule is very fluid due to the nature of newborns and due dates, so sometimes I have some last minute openings. The best time for newborn photos is sometime during the first 3 weeks of your baby’s birth. This is when babies are the most curly. If you missed that window it is ok,  I often photograph older newborns, some as old as 10 weeks old. It is good to keep in mind that older newborns tend to be a little less curly, and are sometimes awake for longer periods at a time, so the flow can be a little different. But older newborns also tend to have filled out a little, have more eye control and may even give us social smiles. If your baby is older than 10 weeks old, don't worry! There are plenty of other darling baby stages in your future. I also offer milestone sessions beginning at 3 months old.

HOW DO I BOOK MY BABY'S NEWBORN SESSION?

That’s easy. Simply send me a message via the form on my contact page and I will personally respond to you within 1-2 business days (usually within 24-hours) to schedule a phone consultation. Once we have a chance to chat, I will send you the booking documents via a secure client portal. Your paid session fee and the session agreement are required to confirm your booking.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO MY BABY'S SESSION?

You just need to bring your baby and milk should your baby need a snack. It’s not a bad idea to bring along a pacifier, we may not need it but its nice to know its available if your baby wants it. Everything we need for your baby’s session I have in the studio. I provide all of the props - everything from buckets and bowls, to wraps, bonnets/hats, accessories, etc. If you have something special you would like me to incorporate, please let me know in advance so I can plan for it during the styling stage of our custom session.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

I generally recommend keeping it simple. At your styling consultation we will discuss everything from colors and favorite styles and you will be personally guided on what outfits to bring to your session.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE FROM MY SESSION?

You will decide which images are your favorite and how many images you would like to purchase at your ordering appointment. I offer both printed and digital collections for you to choose from as well as a la carte options.

HOW LONG AFTER THE SESSION WILL I GET TO SEE MY PHOTOS?

Your ordering appointment will be scheduled within 3 to 7 days after your session date.This appointment is where you will get to view your photos for the first time. At this appointment you will be able to select your favorites and decide how you would like to take them home. My editing process takes about 2 weeks from the time you choose your images, to when the products will be ordered and digital copies will be delivered.

WHAT PRODUCTS CAN I ORDER?

I offer an array of products for you to choose from. I have partnered with some of the best labs in the to ensure that your products will be long-lasting and beautifully display your memories in your home. Albums, Folio Boxes, and various forms of wall art pieces (ie: acrylic, canvas, metal, wood and framed prints) are popular with my clients. HOW DO I ORDER MY IMAGES & ARTWORK?

This is the best part! We will meet up within a week of your session for you to view and choose your favorite images. You only take home just the images that you LOVE! Ordering Appointments can take place in person or via an online video chat. Just send me a couple images of your walls, and I can show you exactly how your images will look during your appt or if you prefer, I can come to you and help you piece together beautiful products that will go perfectly with your home.
