I'm not even sure where to start. Our session with Sandra exceeded all of my expectations. I knew from our first conversation that I wanted to book with her. When Sandra says she schedules around your baby she means it! The day of our session, my baby boy, Kaylon, woke up hours earlier than he had been doing, which meant he would be napping at our current scheduled time. I reached out to Sandra, and she reminded me that the day was ours and that the session start time would be scheduled all around him!  She told me to text her when he went down for his nap, and again when I heard him beginning to stir. That would be her cue. What a relief. Kaylon's session was perfect, and we had so many adorable photos to choose from. Sandra helped us narrow down our favorites and designed the most beautiful album for us. I can't wait for his cake smash session.

They aren't kidding when they tell you not to blink! The days may feel long but the years pass by in a flash. Milestone sessions are a great way to capture your baby's newest accomplishments.  Time waits for nobody. 

Our baby sessions focus on your baby's milestones /achievements during their first year. A milestone session can take place anywhere from 3 months through their first birthday. I offer baby sessions, at home, in the studio or outdoors at one of Orange Counties beautiful parks, beaches or outdoor spaces. These sessions are designed to be simple and stress-free. Prior to  your baby's session, we'll discuss have a quick phone consultation to style your session and decide on a location. This is where we will talk about colors, clothing and specific props for your baby's session. I have a vast array of props and a huge client closet filled with outfits and accessories that I have carefully curated for you to use.

CONSULTATION
All sessions begin with a conversation. This is when I get to get to learn a little about your baby and get a feel for your style, so that I can best tailor your baby's session.  

SESSION
I like baby sessions to be relaxed and as stress free as possible. That means a session scheduled around your baby 's nap schedule on THAT day. This allows us to catch her at her best. I will have everything ready for your arrival.

ORDERING
Get ready to smile! Your Ordering Appointment is where you will get to see your images for the first time and choose your image & product selections. I will be there to help you select your favorites and design any custom artwork you desire.

DELIVERY
Possibly the most exciting part. You may have already seen your baby's finished portraits digitally, but nothing compares to seeing them printed on one of our gorgeous wall art mediums or to first holding your baby's custom album in your hands 

BABY SESSION FAQS

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE A SITTER SESSION?

The best time for a sitter session is when your baby can baby can sit up unassisted. This generally happens sometime between 6 and 9 months.  A lot of parents also like to come in around the six month mark, since it represents the halfway point to the first birthday. 

I have many families who are on a “baby portrait plan.” This means they may come in for two or more milestone sessions during baby’s first year. Although the sitter session is always a popular pick, other great choices include a roller session (3-6m) and of course the cake smash for their first birthday! 

WHAT SHOULD MY BABY WEAR AT HIS/HER SESSION?

When I say you just need to bring the baby, I'm not kidding. I have a client closet for my little clients. It is filled with lots of beautiful and unique hand-made pieces that you won’t find in stores. Should you prefer to bring your own outfits, here are some recommendations for you. Please make sure they are clean, fit well and do not have extremely distracting prints. Simple colors work great, Textures are always beautiful Pin stripes do not photograph well. Overalls can be darling, but they can also bunch up around baby's chin if they are too big. Also please keep in mind, babies don't love getting changed, so it is best to limit outfit changes.
 

DO YOU PROVIDE ALL OF THE PROPS?

Yes! I have a great collection of carefully curated props for your session. Tiny beds, boxes and bowls as well as soft textured layers and furs. I will incorporate them throughout your baby's session. If you have a certain prop in mind, just let me know so I am sure to have it on hand, especially if your baby's session is taking place on location.
