This tiny little nugget is Miss Avery, just over 6 lbs and she was ever so sleepy and curly.   Usually it is the tiny ones that are the feisty ones, but Miss Avery was quite content and only made a few peeps.   She did let me know when I took her out of the little nest that she had been quite comfortable and did not need to be removed…. luckily she gave it up and went right back to sleep.

This gorgeous little bundle is Miss Maddox.  She was wide eyed for the first part of her session, then finally dosed off but it took a bit before she would let me unwrap her (can you blame her, look how cozy that looks!)   Eventually she got nice and sleepy and we were able to get some precious shots of her, but when she awoke she let us know is no uncertain terms that she was done!

Last week I got to photograph Miss Natalie’s new baby sister Sidney.   It is always so much fun to see the likenesses and differences with new siblings.  We had hopes of capturing her in some similar poses to those we have of Natalie, but Miss Sidney had her own ideas of how here session would go and it did not include much sleeping at all.    Here is a little peek at Natalie’s new baby sister, Sidney.

A couple days ago I got to go play with these two little cuties in the park.   Little JR was full of great stories and tales of his magical shoes!  Alex, was all about her jellybeans and who could say no to that sweet face.  Here is a little peek for mom, your gallery is nearly ready!

I love the joy in this one, she was making cookies!

12 days old and about 12 pounds combined, little finnigan and nellie were troopers.  we started with nellie and got some sweet ones of just her, then added in her brother for some darling twinkie cuddles, then it was finnigan’s turn alone…. then they decided they were done.  so fun

and the feistiest newborn of the year.   oh, but what a beauty she is.   her soulful eyes and precious little lips, not to mention her toes!
